During this one day course the emphasis is on what hapens when it all goes wrong, how do you survive in the cold water. Part of the day involes the practical skills neccesary for your best chanceof survival. This is done in a heated swimming pool with a 6 person liferaft.
- Use Real Liferaft
- Use a Lifejacket
- Learn about Safety and Rescue systems
- Helicopter Rescue
- Learn about EPIRBS and SARTS
- In water survival techniques
Pre Course.
On the day you will need a change of clothes which you will wear in to the water. You are not allowed to wear shoes in the pool.
The course is physical and you must make the instructors aware of any health issues you may have.
